What Does The Hymen Cover

Flowing

is the event that the card will be presented to our great little creature ... Froggy is Back!

In the second edition of Hot Pixel Flowing Festival, a series of animated shorts brainchild of John Gall, Professor of Computer Graphics at the University of Catania and organized by the non-profit Erbematte Raffaela Leone in collaboration with Fred Wolf Gallery Zelle in Palermo. Unlike the first edition of the festival which included a screening of animated shorts made with free software and non-commercial purposes (most of them created with Blender), the second opening to the world of animation on several fronts. The collaboration with the young curator Frederick Wolf has led to selection of artists who use animation as an artistic means of expression, then expression not only of avant-garde techniques, but a personal journey that has found a channel of expression without the use of animation time. The selected artists are no different from each other for the results obtained, all remarkable, but the training that characterizes them and the goals it set out to achieve with their work. The work you have entered each other so different should not lead us to think that Hot Flowing is a mere container of images, it is instead of a wide range of techniques and themes to offer the audience a wide range of animations. In dismantling hierarchies and origins - there are students graphic next to well-known professionals, for example - the Festival with the visions of young international artists.

The 27 selected artists are: Andreco and Moruzzi, Barbara Gurrieri Group. Brighter Planet, Dafna Axel, Damiano Stingone FATTIDARTE, David Scharf, Elena Arzuffi, Emanuele Kabu. Francesco Guttuso, Hadas Feldman, Harriet Macdonald, Henrik Sonniksen, Jordan Harris, Lemeh42, Lorenzo Papace, Matti, Luciano Maggiore, Michael Bauer, Michael Fragstein. Paul G. Bonfiglio, Paolo ZappalĂ , Rita Casdia, Robert Morgan, Sean Mullen, Silvan Feldmann, Stella Macdonald, Takuya Hosogane and Virgilio Villoresi.

The second edition of Hot Flowing Pixel Festival, a festival of short animated movies created by Giovanni Gallo, Professor of Computer Graphics at the University of Catania, organised by Raffaela Leone from the not for profit association Erbematte together with Federico Lupo of Galleria Zelle in Palermo, is about to start. Unlike the first edition of the Festival, where short animated movies were created with free software and without commercial purposes (most of those were created with Blender), the second edition opens up to different kinds of animation. The co-operation with the young curator Federico Lupo has led to a selection of artists who use animation as a way to express their art, and not only as a way of expressing state of the art technology, but of a personal journey which has found a timeless channel of communication in the use of animation. The selected artists are all very different, not only in terms of achievements, but also in terms of their personal journeys and the goals they have set to achieve through their work.
The inclusion of so many different works should not led to believe that Hot Flowing is a mere container of images, but rather, it is a wide selection of techniques and issues aimed at providing the audience with a wide range of information. There will be no hierarchies nor geographical differences - for example, there will be students and renowned professionals - and the festival aims at presenting the views of young international artists.
